In most cases, we’ll just need a quick 15 min call to get the process started. If you have a high resolution version of the logo you want us to use on a transparent background, that will help speed things up a bit as well.
Sending notifications, posting news and updating menus to include new links should only take a couple minutes once the initial set up is complete.
The initial build process on our end can typically be completed on the same or next business day. This will certainly be impacted by the volume of agencies that take advantage of this offer.
We encourage you to reach out as soon as possible if you are interested so we can put you in the queue. Once in the queue, we’ll be able to update you on our current turn times. If you have an immediate need, please let us know and we’ll do our best to expedite your request.
If your agency is looking to deploy applications to the public, we advise you to begin the process of setting up your developer accounts with Apple & Google immediately. You can find instructions at https://www.apexmobile.net/developer-account-set-up. We are currently seeing account set up and initial review by Google within 7-10 business days. For Apple, we are seeing 2-5 days. Google requires a one-time payment of $25. Apple waives fees for government organizations. During that period, we will provide access to a preview application that will allow you to see exactly what your app will look like and how it will function before it’s released to the public.
If your organization already has a developer account we can work with your account administrator to get the appropriate access.
Developer accounts are not needed for internal applications.
While our system is pretty intuitive, you will need a little bit of training. After the initial set-up by our team, training for the community and basic internal apps should take no more than 30 minutes over a screen share. If your agency is looking to utilize some of the more advanced features of our Internal platform including user accounts and private groups, plan on 60 minutes for initial training.
In most cases, we do not need to involve your organization’s IT department.
At this time, we are planning on waiving fees through September. If warranted, we will extend that time frame. We also will work agencies that may need a longer time frame on an as-needed basis.
For our community product, the app as deployed would be $2,450 per year. You can see our full list of pricing options here.
For the Apex IRIS internal product, pricing starts at $2,500 per year for up to 50 employees and $7,500 per year for up to 150 employees. Each user above 150 is an additional $25 per year.
Our goal is to respond to all initial inquires within 24 hours. During our initial conversation, we will advise as to the current deployment timelines. Just like your organizations, our capacity is unfortunately limited by staffing but know that we are working 24/7 to build tools to help us expedite this process.
